New library building
In September 2010, the Government of the Czech Republic decided to cancel its financial support for the new building of the Moravian-Silesian Research Library in Ostrava. The Moravian-Silesian Region (the founder of the library) is not able to finance the building on its own, so it will search for a new solution.
