STANDARDS - LOANS FOR IN-HOUSE USE

• complete collection of valid Czech technical standards (formerly Czechoslovak standards), which is continuously completed and updated; invalid standards have been preserved since 2001
• the standards can be found at the web site of the Czech Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (http://www.unmz.cz/)
• access to the database called ČSN online - it contains full texts of all valid Czech technical standards, but also of the invalid standards which have been repealed since 1999. It is possible to search and read them in PDF format, downloading and printing is forbidden.

PATENTS - LOANS FOR IN-HOUSE USE AND OUTSIDE LOANS

• almost all patents that have been granted in the Czech Republic (or Czechoslovakia) since 1918 (nearly 300.000 patents)
• patents can be searched at the web site of the Industrial Property Office (http://www.upv.cz/)
• period of loan: 14 days

• broadsides, product catalogues, manuals, price lists, etc. of Czech and foreign companies, directories and fair catalogues
• period of loan: 14 days

COMPANY JOURNALS AND ANNUAL REPORTS - LOANS FOR IN-HOUSE USE AND OUTSIDE LOANS

• about 500 titles of company journals and an extensive collection of annual reports (both Czech and foreign)
• company journals and annual reports can be found in the electronic catalogue of our library
• period of loan: 1 week

MUSIC CDS - OUTSIDE LOANS

• about 8.000 CDs of all kinds
• CDs can be searched in the electronic catalogue
• period of loan: 1 week

LANGUAGE TEXTBOOKS INCLUDING CORRESPONDING SOUND RECORDINGS - OUTSIDE LOANS

• language textbooks for studying English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Finnish, Arabic, Swedish, Chinese language, etc. (including corresponding audio cassettes and CDs)
• period of loan: 30 days

BOOKS LIMITED ONLY FOR IN-HOUSE USE

• books which are limited for in-house use, they can be studied only in the library
